I am a resident family doctor providing full-spectrum primary care to all members of the family, from newborns, children and teenagers, pregnant people, adults, and elders. I support patients in managing acute and chronic health conditions, and can also offer resources in behavioral health, addiction medicine, reproductive health, and gender-affirming care. I have been honored to support patients who identify as LGBTQIA+ for the last decade, including time spent as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Transgender Tuesday clinic at Tom Waddell Urban Health Center and as an HIV Test Counselor with the UCSF Alliance Health Project. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School, where I chaired the annual LGBTQIA+ Health Symposium, and have conducted research on the health of incarcerated men who have sex with men published in the American Journal of Public Health. I also serve on the Editorial Board of Pride in Practice, an online resource for healthcare providers on LGBTQIA+ health topics.
