I come to this work from experiences that drew me deeper into relationship with myself then back outward to the world to facilitate others’ deep dives into themselves. I came out as lesbian at 31 while in a heterosexual marriage with 2 small children. I later married my wife. I now identify as queer. I have personal experience with family ostracization and cutoff due to sexual orientation as well as with masking and the internal conflicts related to fitting in and being authentic. I encourage the agency of all my clients. My work of processing feelings and somatic experiences can lead to people feeling more grounded in themselves and living from their souls. I understand that coming out is an ongoing and very personal experience; I support you in your process.
I offer a safe, open presence and honor your personal life choices. I engage in embodied practices and transpersonal connection to empower you in your strengths and help you make them work in service of your challenges. I am influenced by psychodynamic/attachment and trauma-informed perspectives. Work with me is primarily about relationship: with yourself, your life, your choices, your others.
