Serving the LGBTQ community is an integral part of my personal mission, professional training, and counseling practice. As a gay man, I personally identify with any individual’s quest for self-understanding and empowerment as a sexual minority. As a licensed mental health provider since 1999, I have worked with hundreds of LGBTQ+ clients, advocated for local and national civil rights, and served as a community resource for LGBTQ-identified agencies such as Whitman-Walker Clinic, PFLAG, HRC, and the GLMA.
