I have always felt passionate about working with my community, the LGBTQ community. I started my career at the LGBT Center in Manhattan where I saw individuals presenting with a wide range of issues and ran several groups (HIV+, transgender, substance use). I launched my own practice five years ago, Expansive Therapy, and it has quickly grown to be one of the largest queer focused private practices in the country. I was also the first psychotherapist to be named to Out Magazines Out100 for my work with the queer community. My practice has a great team of mostly queer identified clinicians with a wide variety of specialties. We work together to ensure the best affirming care.
