My name is Pete Nguyen, and I am a dual-certified PMHNP and CRNA practicing in the Baltimore and Howard County. As a provider, I understand that the LGBTQ+ community often faces fragmented care. My background in anesthesia and psychiatry allows me to view mental health through a biological lens while maintaining the empathy required for trauma-informed, gender-affirming care. I am dedicated to bridging the gap between physical health and mental resilience for my patients.

My practice is built on the “Medicine 3.0” philosophy, focusing on the four pillars of longevity: sleep optimization, physical activity (including strength training), nutritional biochemistry, and emotional resilience. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and lifestyle psychiatry tailored to the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals, with a focus on chronic stress and health disparities often found within the community. I am actively engaged in professional networking within the Ellicott City and Baltimore medical communities to establish safer, more collaborative referral pathways for gender-affirming care and telehealth accessibility.
