Anuj Patel is a dedicated and driven fourth-year dual degree MD and clinical research master's student at the University of Michigan. Their journey with OutCare began during their undergraduate education at Purdue University, where they first discovered their passion for LGBTQ+ health. Since joining OutCare, Anuj has been a vital force in the organization, actively involved in various LGBTQ+ health education research studies and leading impactful cultural competency trainings for healthcare providers. Their commitment to LGBTQ+ health extends beyond OutCare, as they hold leadership positions in LGBTQ+-focused student organizations and have played a pivotal role in developing the first LGBTQ+ health elective for the University of Michigan Medical School. Anuj's diverse interests also include playing Indian classical music and indulging in the joys of gardening. With their exceptional drive, expertise, and dedication to LGBTQ+ health, Anuj is an invaluable asset to the OutCare team.
