John Penezic is a fourth-year doctoral student at Spalding University’s School of Professional Psychology. He received a MA in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University and LGBT Health Competency training at the University of Louisville. Among his clinical interests, John specializes in work with the LGBTQ population. He provides free and low-cost training to non-profit organizations to promote inclusive practices. Additionally, he authored two educational brochures for the Kentucky Psychology Foundation’s award-winning Head’s Up public education campaign: The ABC’s of LGBTQ and Allyship: Healthier Environments for All. In his free time, John enjoys meditative practices, cooking, and spending time with friends at coffee shops.
