Seattle, WA I am an out family physician in Seattle, WA where I work at Swedish Family Medicine - First Hill's residency program as faculty responsible for our integrated LGBTQI+ and GYN curricula and serve as the medical director for Swedish Health Services' LGBTQI+ Program, where I work on a team which includes our program manager, transgender healthcare navigator, and system educator. I provide care to people of all ages and continue to provide obstetrical services, including surgical obstetrics at our tertiary care center, Swedish Medical Center - First Hill. I also work with medical students, primarily from the University of Washington and Washington State University, as the chair of their LGBTQI+ Health class and as faculty for their LGBTQI+ Health Pathway. Qualifications I've had the pleasure to serve on the boards for Seattle Pride, the National LGBTQ Task Force, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, and Kentucky, and as a member of Planned Parenthood Federation of America's National Medical Committee to provide input on their protocols serving LGBTQI+ patients. I've spent 15 years working as faculty, with the last 12 years working at Swedish Family Medicine - First Hill in Seattle, WA. I now serve as adjunct faculty with Swedish's First Hill family medicine and Swedish's OB/GYN residency programs teaching how to care for LGBTQI+ individuals. I also serve as the course chair for the University of Washington's LGBTQI+ Health Disparities course and as a clinical assistant professor for the University of Washington's and Washington State University's schools of medicine.
