Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based and relationship-focused and seeks to provide a safe place to explore sexuality and gender. When not at work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and training for marathons and destination races. This includes a yearly Pride run in Howard County, MD and an informal support network for runner mothers of LGBTQIA+ children, teens and young adults. 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 For the last 6 years Kimberly has researched, done trainings, and sought paid consultation from providers with lived experience around best practices working with queer and transgender clients. In addition, for the last 3 years, she has done a deep dive into research and sought paid consultation and is now building a peer consultation group in her community to improve competence in working with neurodivergent clients. Kimberly recently completed Brainspotting Level 1 training and is gearing up to take Level 2 in the fall and is excited to be able to offer this tool to help clients process traumatic experiences.
