Dr. Fortuno is a board certified pediatric neurologist with fellowship training in fetal-neonatal neurology. Dr. Fortuno earned her medical degree with honors at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine, in Puerto Rico. She completed her pediatric residency training at Universidad de Puerto Rico School of Medicine and her pediatric neurology residency at Boston Medical Center where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Fortuno also completed a fellowship in fetal and neonatal neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Before moving to Central Florida in 2017, she served as a pediatric and neonatal neurologist and as a neonatal intensive care physician at hospitals in North Carolina and Puerto Rico. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
