Hello and welcome! I’m Laura Muensterer (she/her), an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I identify as pansexual and am a first-generation German immigrant, which gives me a deep appreciation for the complexity of intersectional identity, cultural belonging, and the lifelong journey of self-discovery.
I am proud to offer LGBTQ+ affirming care through a trauma-informed, person-centered lens. My approach blends warmth, humor, and depth, and is rooted in the belief that every person deserves a space where they feel truly seen and heard. Whether you’re exploring your gender identity, navigating coming out experiences, healing from trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, or redefining your relationships—I am here to walk alongside you.
As someone who came into my own queer identity later in life, I deeply understand the emotional nuances of self-exploration and the courage it takes to live authentically. My goal is to help you identify your strengths, clarify your values, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced or shamed. Therapy with me is a collaborative process grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens in relationship. If you’re looking for a warm, inclusive, and identity-affirming therapist, I’d be honored to support you in your journey.
