I am a Nurse Practitioner experienced in providing HIV treatment and prevention, gender affirming care, and primary care services. I currently serve as the Director of HIV Care and Sexual Health Services at Community Access Network. Prior to obtaining my NP license, I worked in a variety of healthcare setting, including spending three years as a Ryan White Case manager. I completed training and obtained certification as an Advanced HIV/AIDS registered nurse (AACRN). I have attended the HIV intensive course through Johns Hopkins University twice, and during this training received additional training to provide gender affirming care. I also attended the STI intensive and have worked extensively with people who have been diagnosed with an STI or who are concerned they may have been exposed to an STI. I am able to provide HIV prevention counseling and medications (PrEP) and provide post-exposure prophylaxis when necessary. I am a fierce advocate for all of my patients, and a strong ally for the LGBTQ community.
