As a queer-identified therapist with over 10+ years of experience, I have an appreciation for the grounding experience of knowing that your clinician is a safe person with whom you can bring your entire self without fear of stigma, judgment, or having to overly explain your identity to someone who just doesn’t get it. Whatever is bringing you to therapy, whether it be specifically LGBTQIA+-related issues or other challenges, I am here to provide affirming and inclusive psychotherapy services to you.
My practice is a space where you can have a partner in holding your inner world with curiosity. My goal is to tailor sessions to address your unique needs and to create an environment where you be truly seen and heard. I approach therapy by providing an attentive, collaborative, and honest space where we can explore your internal landscape, gain insight into your patterns, and find authentic ways of being you. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Smith College School for Social Work ’15), I pay close attention to the ways in which your intersecting identities and life’s circumstances may play a role in your emotional life. We may be a good fit if you experience anxiety, depression, challenging family relationships, grief, trauma, perfectionism, feeling stuck, and more.
I have an authentic passion for being a part of people’s journeys towards living a contented life. To ensure that you receive the highest quality care from me, I regularly engage in clinical education and am currently a candidate in the one year psychoanalytic psychotherapy program at the Los Angeles Institute & Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS).
My in-person office is located in Pasadena, CA and I am licensed to provide telehealth services to people across the states of California and Idaho. Should my style and values speak to you, I welcome you to reach out so we can start the conversation of what you’re in need of and how I may be able to help.
