primarily provide affirmative therapy for LGBTQIA+ folks who are looking to deepen their understanding of themself and draw from ACT, compassion focused, and IFS models. I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, trauma-informed space for people experiencing symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, or navigating life transitions/stress. Some people don’t know why they feel “off” and this can be a space to explore that and gain deeper understanding. I also provide Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with a psychiatric prescriber.
I work collaboratively with clients to create a safe container to explore difficult/traumatic experiences. We’ll work together to better understand “messy” thoughts, feelings, or overwhelm. I meet people where they’re at and practice from a place of curiosity, exploration, and compassion while drawing from ACT, IFS, and Compassion focused models.
Have you been in therapy before and felt like your therapist just didn’t “get” the nuances of your identities or experiences, especially as a queer person? It can feel really frustrating and like you have to hide parts of yourself. Let’s work together to make space for all of you to show up in the therapy room and explore your unique story!
