Hi! I’m Lindsey, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist practicing in North Carolina. I provide individual therapy to folks 14+ with a strong passion for supporting the LGBTQ+ community. I specialize in Trauma/PTSD/inner healing work, self exploration (including gender and sexuality) and self compassion work, anxiety, attachment and relationship patterns, neurodivergence and exhaustion of “masking”, and substance use (those in active use or in recovery).
My approach to therapy is genuine, authentic, and collaborative. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or formal; instead, expect real conversations where you don’t have to say the “right” thing or know exactly how you feel. You’re invited to take up space, ramble, laugh, cry, curse, stim, and finally unmask. I strive to create a space where you can trust that you will be met with curiosity and acceptance every single session. My most used modalities are IFS (internal family systems), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion-focused therapy (EFT).
I offer free 15-minute consultations to make sure you feel comfortable and supported before we begin. You can contact me by my phone or email.
Wherever this journey leads, we’ll face it together!
