Every family deserves support. I believe that accessible, affirming care isn’t a luxury. It’s something everyone should be able to count on. Our healthcare system has too often failed people based on race, income, or identity, and I’m committed to doing my part to change that in my own work.
I offer sliding scale rates and scholarships for those facing financial hardship. If cost has been a barrier to getting postpartum or lactation support, please reach out. I want to hear from you.
I’m a queer woman, and creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ families is something I take seriously.
My training includes:
– Lactation Support & the LGBTQ+ Community
– The National LGBTQ+ Curriculum, Part I
– Inducing Lactation: A Three Step Framework
Clients also receive exclusive access to a curated resource directory for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC families.
A little about me-
I’m a trained postpartum doula and certified lactation specialist living in Chittenden County, Vermont, where I’ve been for the past seven years.
My path here wasn’t a straight line. I spent years in the restaurant industry, earned a business degree, and worked across nonprofits and healthcare, always searching for something that felt like mine. It wasn’t until my son was born that everything clicked.
After he arrived, my husband returned to work and I found myself home alone, without nearby family or many close friends. I had nearly 20 years of experience working with children, and I was still scared. That feeling, the overwhelm, the loneliness, the weight of the unknown, is what drew me to this work.
I wanted to help other families feel less alone. The more I learned, the more I knew this was it. And somewhere along the way, I fell in love with lactation.
