Koda Brinker (He/Him) is a cisgender man who belongs to the LGBTQ community. He’s an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and provides virtual appointments to clients in DC, VA, and MD.

After graduating DePaul University with a BS in Health Sciences, he sought an impactful career in direct patient care and obtained his ADN while living in a coastal town in North Carolina. During the pandemic, he was inspired to specialize in mental/psychiatric health and completed his MSN from Herzing University while travel nursing in Philadelphia and along the East Coast. Afterwards, he attained his ANCC Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, serving the whole lifespan of the patient.

His approach to care is built on a foundation of evidence-based practices, and from there is tailored to accommodate for the unique needs of each patient. He desires to provide treatment that goes beyond merely prescribing medicine by taking an interest in the patient’s holistic wellbeing and wants to deeply understand his patients when creating treatment plans and invites patients to collaborate in treatment by bringing their full selves to boost health outcomes.
