My passion is working with the LGBT+ community and the unique challenges they face. I became a therapist to help people be who they are in order to live a fulfilling life. Members of the LGBT+ community often do not feel comfortable in their own skin, keeping them from living their lives. As a member of the community myself, I have had my own experiences where being who I am has been difficult. That is why I enjoy helping others in the community move through these feelings and experiences and live well on the other side. I enjoy helping people with discovering their identity, working through depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress management.
I have been working with the LGBT+ professionally since beginning college in 2009. I served on Ball State’s gay-straight alliance executive board for 3 years, became active in the LGBT+ community during my graduate years, and am now the owner of a private practice in Greenwood with the sole focus on the community.
