Amanda (she/her/hers) is an Occupational Therapist with years of helping and caring for others. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Sociology, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer promoting Health Education in rural Mozambique, Africa. Following her desire to help others, she received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida.
Since then, Amanda has worked in various settings including acute hospital care, home health, and inpatient rehabilitation. She has supported people across the lifespan to do the things that they want and need to do through adapting the task and/or the environment to fit the individual person. Amanda works with people of all ages who have a variety of physical and wellbeing challenges. Her special interests include serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and individuals who are pre/postpartum with anxiety and depression.
Amanda hopes to serve the community so that individuals can live their most meaningful and purposeful life. She believes wholeheartedly in collaborating with people from a holistic approach.
Outside of work, you will find Amanda adventuring with her husband, their 3 kids and their lab. She loves all things nature, travel, animals, coffee, and tasty food!
