Preferred name is “Debi”, and I am a cisgender occupational therapist in private practice, where I provide fully telemedicine services. My practice is based out of Spokane WA, but I live and practice out of my home office in Seattle. I am part of a number of gender diverse and inclusive groups, including the local Burning Man community. My practice is solely for telemedicine mobility evaluations to help persons with mobility challenges in the home qualify for insurance-covered mobility devices. For persons who need a mobility device (like a custom manual or powered mobility device) as their primary device in the home, the first step is to visit a physician and have the physician provide documentation indicating the need for the device. Next, feel free to email our clinic for next steps in the insurance process. We are a fully telemedicine clinic; we are open to other types of occupational therapy interventions beyond mobility evaluations, within the limitations of telemedicine. Other interventions may include chronic disease management, medication management, development of home exercise programs, home safety modification recommendations, assistive device and adaptive equipment education and training.
