Angela R. Peters – ALLY Counseling Services
I have worked in the field of mental health since 2004 and as a therapist since 2015. My early experience was primarily with children in DHS custody who had experienced traumatic abuse/neglect/abandonment. During this time, I had the privilege of working with many courageous/amazing kids and teens in LGBTQIA+ population that had experienced emotional, physical abuse, rejection and abandonment by their own bio family because of their orientation/identity. When I decided to start my own private practice ALLY Counseling Services almost 2 years ago, I wanted to create an inclusive and supportive environment for EVERYONE to help my clients feel safe and supported without any fear, bias, hate or hurt. Through my practice I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, families and couples all ages, identities, ethnicities and cultures and I feel so fortunate. Whether you are seeking services for yourself, child, family member or loved ones, I can assure you that my office is a safe inclusive place where you are respected, valued affirmed and cared for.
My practice is a judgement free, affirming and supportive environment where experiences that affect real people of all abilities, communities, ethnic backgrounds are all open, welcome and supported.
