Dr. Anthonette Sparman is a double board-certified Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist at PainfreeNYC in Brooklyn, NY. Dr Sparman offers personalized and compassionate care for a wide variety of Neurological conditions, including Headaches/Migraines, Seizures, Peripheral Neuropathy, Vertigo, Multiple sclerosis, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Stroke, neck and lower back pain, and many more.
Dr. Sparman grew up in Georgetown, Guyana, until she moved to the United States at age 15 to reunite with her parents. She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in Westchester, NY. She completed a rigorous four-year Neurology residency training program at the University Hospital of Brooklyn. She then went on to complete a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship with a focus on Electromyography (EMG) at NYU Langone School of Medicine.
Dr. Sparman is passionate about mentoring and teaching pre-medical students and hopes to be an example for maintaining patient-centric care in medical practice. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, ballroom dancing, and exploring various culinary scenes.
