Ashley Smith provides mental health counseling services to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The modality she uses in therapy is person-centered, as she believes not one method of treatment works for everyone. Her specialty is working to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. She has a background in working with trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help treat emotional disturbances. She also utilizes many Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) methods as well. Ashley’s goal is to create a safe environment in which her clients can set goals for themselves and make positive changes in their lives.
