One of my goals while in grad school was to expand my perspectives from beyond my own experiences. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where we can work together to help you regain balance, build resilience, and move forward with confidence. Using an eclectic mix of evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic therapies and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs whether you are navigating daily stress, managing panic attacks, or healing from past wounds.
I use primarily Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR as an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist. I specialize in post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression. In addition to being LGBTQIA+ myself, I have done additional training on IFS Approaches with LGBTQ2IA+ Clients and read many books on the subject. I work to create a safe space for all my client and honestly in most cases my work with LGBTQIA+ clients is not so different from work with all my clients. I work to meet you where you are and find solutions or guidance to whatever you are facing.
