I am passionate about walking alongside members of the LGBTQ+ community as they find freedom and peace with who they are meant to be. I hold full confidence that clients are capable of healing and growth when they are given space to be seen, heard, and fully accepted. I am interested in incorporating art and creativity into the healing process with clients of all ages. I value the uniqueness of each individual and am grateful for the opportunity to work with people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and sexual and gender identities.
I have experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community who struggle with eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, faith transitions, and meaning-making later in life. I work with children (11 and up), adolescents, young adults, and older adults.
I have attended trainings hosted by the Renfrew Center focused on the intersection of eating disorders and queer identity, have read about the complexities of faith and sexual identity, and have lived experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I am committed to continuing to pursue excellence in providing counseling services for this population.
While I do not accept insurance, I do offer a sliding scale to help make my services more accessible.
