This provider misgendered me constantly, would never directly apologize/address the fact she did (just awkwardly bypassed and made jokes about it as if it was funny, had clearly never regularly used they/them pronounce before.) She literally said “looking at you I assume you identify as female, right?” There are providers who do not specifically advertise themselves as having this kind of competency who are far better at this than she is, simply by being decent professionals who are actually competent even at a basic level.
