I’m Claire (she/her), I’m a cisgender white queer woman living in Juneau Alaska. I’ve been working with youth and young adult mental health support for the last 11 years with a variety of different capacities from therapeutic wilderness field guide to school social worker. I have a passion for supporting individuals navigating the world we live in with compassion and collaboration.
I work with eclectic modalities from an ecosystems theory lens. I believe that our social location and experiences make a huge difference in how we interact with the world around us and how the world interacts with us. I don’t believe there is just one way to heal and I support individuals finding what works for them. I believe our connection to each other and community are hugely healing and not everything we need fits neatly into a box.
My own personal code of ethics aligns with the social work code of ethics and I am consistently learning and looking for new ways to better my practice and support my clients including trainings, opportunity for advocacy, research and reflection.
