I am an openly nonbinary trans-masc, AFAB, queer, non-religious, able bodied person. I was born, raised and am currently living as an uninvited guest on unceded Shoshone-Bannock-Paiute land, colonized as Idaho. Being a clinical therapist and intentionally visible as a queer identifying person is important to me. This drives much of my social work approach, lens, and practice with individuals, as a trauma therapist and LGBTQIA+ community member. I offer queer affirming space and operate from the informed consent model as outlined in WPATH standards of care.
I began to intentionally learn more about not only exploring my own identities, but how to do this as a therapist in 2018. I find continued growth in professional trainings and education offerings as well as local and larger levels of activism. I have provided inclusive education for professionals and guardians in school and community settings as well as for medical providers.
