My services are open to working with LGBTQ+ clients. I approach clients with a positive, client-centered approach. I strongly believe in providing clients an open-minded and judgement free space where they can express themselves and build confidence in their sexuality and identity. During my graduate program, I learned specifically about gender and sexual identity in my coursework. I have worked with, and currently work with, LGBTQ+ clients during my internship as a graduate. With previous clients, I have gained competency in being aware of client’s language and how they prefer to identify themselves. I am mindful of each client’s uniqueness and avoid assumptions of clients’ sexual orientation and identity.
