I came to the field of therapy following many years working in the not-for-profit space to effect change in the world. Since earning a graduate degree at Boston College School of Social Work, I have applied my skills in a range of settings that have given me experience working with individuals from many walks of life who are dealing with diverse challenges. I endeavor to welcome all identities into the therapy space, and have specialized training in working with the LGBTQIA+ community through my prior experience at Fenway Health, one of the largest and most experienced providers of LGBTQIA+ centered care, and have been effective in helping folks navigate change, work through mental health challenges and identify new approaches. My approach centers on finding out what is most important to people. It is from this foundation of understanding that my clients and I build a collaboration through which they can develop new skills and gain insights that will help them approach life’s challenges more effectively.
