Danielle has experience working with adolescents, adults, families and couples from diverse backgrounds. Her areas of work include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions, relational issues and daily stressors. Using an eclectic approach, Danielle draws from various modalities such as relational therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic framework, narrative therapy and client-centered therapy, approaching therapy through mindfulness, a culturally sensitive, queer-affirmative and a trauma informed lens. With creativity and adaptability, Danielle crafts engaging and effective therapy sessions, fostering curiosity and innovation. Shifting focus from a problem-focused story of oneself or others to one of strength and resilience, matched with hopeful empowerment and a clearer sense of agency in their lives. Danielle holds a collaborative and non-pathologizing approach, partnering with clients, to delve into underlying concerns & guiding clients towards understanding and processing of their experiences.
