I identify as a queer practitioner, and I take an intersectional approach to work with clients that recognizes the fluid nature of identity. I often work with folx who don’t fit neatly into any one gender or sexual identity label, and who may experience discrimination both inside and outside of their larger communities. My graduate studies focused on Sexual Health & Education, with a concentration in Couple & Sex Therapy and alternative relationship models. I have experience training educators and social workers in best practices to address the needs of trans and gender nonbinary folx. My previous work with Fenway Community Health Center, Boston’s premiere LGBTQ community health center, pertained to interpersonal violence recovery for LGBTQ survivors of sexual and domestic violence, anti-LGBTQ hate violence, and refugees and asylum seekers. Since that time, I have provided outpatient therapeutic care to queer clientele focusing on concerns around sexual health, grief, trauma, and anxiety/depression.
