Dr. Danny Flautero (he/him) was born in Bogota, Colombia and grew up in Minneapolis, MN. He attended Amherst College, where he majored in French and Biology before enrolling in medical school at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He completed Family Medicine residency at Georgetown, where he served as Chief Resident and advocated for inclusion of LGBTQ+ health in medical student and resident education.
Following his interest in LGBTQ+ health, Dr Flautero completed UCLA’s LGBTQ+ Healthcare Fellowship from 2023-2024 and is now faculty in UCLA’s Medicine-Pediatrics Department and the LA LGBT Center. His clinical interest include general primary care, HIV management, high resolution anoscopy (anal cancer screening), gender affirming care and hormone management for patients of all ages.
