I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with 31 years of clinical experience. I moved to Indiana from central New York after graduating with a bachelor of science degree in Interpersonal Communication from The University at Buffalo. I earned my Masters degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.
I am a sex positive clinician and LGBTQ+ ally. I have had the good fortune to work in clinical in-patient and educational settings the last 31 years. I have work with a wide range of clients and presenting issues, and pride myself in affirming therapeutic approaches for everyone who sees me. My specialties are relationship dynamics, communication, sexual health, Out of Control Sexual Behavior, self care for mental health, trauma, parenting, teens and general wellness. I am trained in the trauma effective modalities of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
