I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Welsh. Despite being a long-term patient of the clinic, I felt dismissed and unsupported when I requested a simple letter confirming my care history—without including specific medical details I had explicitly asked to keep private.

I clearly communicated that I did not want any diagnosis listed in the letter, yet one was included anyway. When I asked for the letter to be revised in accordance with my privacy request, Dr. Welsh refused and provided no explanation as to why including a diagnosis was necessary. He also would not provide a version of the letter without it.

Due to Dr. Welsh’s unwillingness to explain his position or accommodate a reasonable and privacy-conscious request, I am left to question whether his actions may have been discriminatory. His final response was curt and made it clear he was unwilling to engage in any meaningful discussion or support.

As a patient, I expect my privacy to be respected and my concerns to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I cannot recommend Dr. Welsh to anyone who values patient-centered care, transparency, or basic privacy rights.
