Sometimes life give us unexpected (or even unwanted) challenges that are much easier to successfully navigate with help and support. Living and thriving as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community is a beautiful thing, but there can also be many challenges along the way that can leave their marks on us: struggling for self-acceptance or the acceptance of those we love, bullying and harassment, finding and expressing our authentic selves, feeling like we “fit”, and having healthy and stable relationships. These challenges are in addition to mental and emotional challenges that are not specific to our community’s experience.
As a gay man, I have a deep understanding of our community and the challenges that many of us have faced and continue to face in our pursuit of being who we are. As a master’s level trained therapist and counselor, I am equipped to help you successfully navigate these challenges. My practice has been primarily focused on helping other gay men heal from the common wounds we share and building a life that is meaningful, worth living and aligned with our deepest values.
I aim to be open and unconditionally accepting of all varieties of people which is reflected in my “Come as you are and as WHO you are” attitude. No taboos. No judgment. No explanations needed.
This is your safe space to grow and heal and I would love to support you in your journey. Lets chat and see how I can help and if I would be a good match for you and your needs.
