My name is Erika Pastor. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. I started my nursing career in the inpatient infectious disease unit at Henry Ford Health. My interest was in caring for HIV patients. Most of my career has been in HIV care. After I obtained my NP degree, I have been working in a clinic that is part of a collaboration between The Ruth Ellis Center and Henry Ford Health. In this clinic we provide gender affirming care, referral to gender surgeries, HIV prevention and treatment, primary care, and sexual health services. We value patient centered care and believe that a person should be involved in health decisions. I have training from the Fenway Health Institute in LGBTQ+ care.
