I am an LGBTQ-identified provider with a dedicated focus on serving LGBTQIA+ youth and adults. Both my personal and professional experiences have shaped my commitment to providing affirming, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health care for our community. I understand firsthand the impact of stigma and systemic barriers in healthcare, and my practice is rooted in creating an affirming, safe space where patients can access care without fear of judgment or discrimination. In addition to my direct clinical work, I have pursued continuing education specific to LGBTQIA+ health and I regularly participate in workshops and conferences focused on inclusive psychiatric practice. My approach is grounded in evidence-based psychiatric care while tailoring treatment to the individual, honoring each patient’s intersecting identities and understanding any presenting psychiatric symptoms or mental health challenges in the context of their unique lived experience.
