I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in 2007, worked as a case manager in underserved communities and then pursued enhancing my skills as an individual psychotherapist. Once I started interning at an LGBTQ+ mental health clinic in San Francisco early on in my career- I continued working with this community from then on- including case management for folx living with HIV/AIDS, running support groups, collaborating with gender affirming healthcare providers, receiving various CEU’s in this specialty and seeing these folx in my practice. I’m currently licensed in both WA and CA and provide both in-person therapy (for those living locally) in Olympia WA, and telehealth (video) therapy.
I have over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist, providing guidance and heart healing for those who long for and desire a more satisfying and enriching life.
I practice with multidimensional and intersecting identities and see individual adults only.
I bring humor, deep listening, culturally attuned, gently directive, trauma-informed, and psycho-spiritual values to my work.
Self reflection is necessary for me to be there for myself and for others. This is a life practice of mine which I hold very dear. I’m a human being, ever changing, constantly learning and evolving. I show up in sessions, as myself, and am devoted to doing any work to face my own inner wounding and placement in this world- such as continuously learning to decondition from the systems that oppress us all.
