Associate Professor, Ball State University. I teach several human sexuality courses and have since 2003. I am a member of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS) since 1997. Past-President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness Delaware County, IN. I have taught classes in which students have created a local support group for people living with HIV/AIDS, and more recently, one in which students created online continuing education courses on Autism and BDSM and Disabilities and BDSM. Students in my graduate course complete a Gender, Sexual, or Romantic Minority (GSRM) project in which they interview 2 people living a particular identity, research it, and create a resource list. I have given presentations on working with transgender and gender nonconforming individuals, as well as GSRM’s to medical and mental health professionals, students, and the community. Finally, I have worked with and am currently working several people who identify as LGBTQ clinically and as an educator and research supervisor.
