Heather is a warm, knowledgeable professional and LGBTQIA+ ally that I would recommend for any trans woman wanting to find her voice. I have worked with Heather now for close to a year and a half, first helping me to feminize my voice and then after vocal feminization surgery, Heather gave me the tools and know how I needed to safely heal and use my new instrument.
Heathed first and foremost understand how much of our identity and emotion is wrapped up in the voice. She has been incredible in helping me to feel more authentic in how I communicate and finding a voice that felt like me. Heather also in keenly aware of the unique safety issues trans women have in speaking and how our voices can lead to a better sense of well being.
