I am a licensed therapist who believes therapy is a collaborative process of helping someone to explore the best things about themselves to become an even better version of themselves. Long before I worked for my Master’s of Social Work degree and became a licensed therapist, I had friends, family and acquaintances who struggled with their gender and/or sexual identity. I was inspired by their courage to be advocates for gay marriage in VT when this became a historic piece of legislature. So many acquaintances and close friends were in various degrees of advocacy roles in the community that I too wanted to become a knowledgeable and kind ally. I create safe, caring, skilled space for individuals on this journey to find their authentic selves.
