Our team is committed to providing affirming healthcare and believe in building collaborative healing spaces. We strive to respect the relationships we build and the care we provide for our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, and intersex patients. Our goal is to help everyone on their journey. Our clinical practice incorporates various perspectives to aid folks through recovery in surgery, hormone therapy, emotional balance and support, and much more. We have worked with LGBTQIA+ clients struggling with family rejection, transition, fertility (including assisting with TG/NC pregnancy and care) and other conditions that may arise.
Specifically For Our Gender-Diverse Clients:
There are times when the information you may be asked to provide on a form makes you uncomfortable or dysphoric. Part of the problem, such as gender markers, are from a standardized form from Unified Practice. We have been actively trying to get them to revise this option to allow for a more inclusive form process.
Other information that may be uncomfortable or dysphoric is not collected this for public use but to ensure you are receiving the appropriate treatment for the conditions you came in for and treating it based upon your physical body. If you prefer, you can leave the information blank on the form and discuss your concerns in private with the practitioner during your initial session; they will be sympathetic, accepting, and understanding. While it is important to treat the physical body, we believe in the diversity of bodies and identities and will embrace your preferred names and pronouns at all times.
