I was born and raised in Chicago and lucky enough to attend public schools where I was exposed to diversity at a young age. I appreciate and honor individuality and I think that shows through in how I provide care to the clients. I have had LGBTQ+ friends since high school where I was a part of the Rainbow Club. I currently live in a very LGBTQ friendly neighborhood in Chicago (Edgewater) where I continue to support local establishments, fundraisers, and causes. Due to my location in Chicago I attract many LGBTQ clients to my private practice. I engage in trainings and special events as much as possible to gain knowledge and skills about the populations I serve and the intersectionalities that exist.
I am about to facilitate Chicago’s first Belong Circle next week on 9/16 as part of a nation wide collective action to end loneliness. More information on this initiative here:
