I have over 10 years experience providing primary care. I am happy to include PrEP, Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy, sexual and reproductive health care as part of my practice. I attend regular continuing education regarding lgbtq care. For gender care, I follow WPATH guidelines, also informed by other guidelines like those developed by Fenway Health center and UCSF. I am part of a teaching residency program where we train Resident Doctors in these competencies as well.
In the office, I provide basic procedures like skin biopsies, and place IUDs and Nexplanons, provide initial fertility counseling, and provide evaluation and follow up care for miscarriage and abortion.
I recognize that seeking care as an LGBTQ+ person can be stressful, and do my best to serve as an ally and advocate. I view my role as a doctor to learn about patients unique histories and lived experiences, and help them achieve their personalized health goals.
