I am a trauma therapist in Tennessee, and I specialize in helping adults in the LGBTQ+ community explore their identities, build thriving relationships, and cultivate authentic, fulfilling lives.
As a gay man raised in a conservative religious environment, I’m deeply familiar with the complexities that arise when sexual and gender identities collide with spiritual identity and upbringing. These life experiences shape my approach as a therapist, allowing me to create a safe and inclusive space for clients navigating this often-challenging intersection.
At the heart of my practice is a collaborative, relational method that nurtures healing, self-discovery, and embodied authenticity. I encourage clients to engage with their full selves, fostering inner strength and emotional resilience.
I’m also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, trained in Somatic Experiencing, where the mind-body connection is central. This approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy to help clients move out of chronic stress patterns and survival states, supporting deeper self-awareness and long-lasting healing. Using gentle, but effective body-based practices, I support clients in restoring balance and fostering a sense of safety in their bodies.
Whether you’re seeking to heal from trauma, explore your identity, or connect more authentically with others, I’m here to support you on your unique path to growth. Together, we’ll uncover your inner resilience and craft a life that feels true to who you are.
