Jonathan M. Stofer is a family medicine physician. He earned a Master’s of Public Health with a focus in Global Health from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Stofer enjoys running, hiking, reading, and spending time with his husband and black lab Charlie. Dr. Stofer has been heavily involved in community organizations such as the Global Health Initiative and Good Neighbor House. Dr. Stofer has a passion for refugee and underserved medicine. He is the founder/director of a medical NGO in Peru called The Rural Amazonian Health Initiative, which serves rural jungle communities with limited access to healthcare.
Dr. Stofer’s focus areas include global health, travel medicine, preventative health, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health, LGBTQ+ care, and HIV prevention (PrEP).
