As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide affirming, evidence-based psychiatric care to LGBTQ+ individuals across Arizona and Nevada via secure telehealth. My practice is grounded in respect, autonomy, and cultural humility. I am committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients can explore identity, mental health, and life stressors without fear of stigma.
I have experience treating LGBTQ+ adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, minority stress, religious trauma, relationship concerns, mood disorders, and life transitions. I am knowledgeable in gender-affirming mental healthcare, including support around gender dysphoria, social transition, and coordination of care when appropriate. My approach recognizes the impact of discrimination, family rejection, systemic barriers, and intersectional stressors on mental health outcomes.
My care model emphasizes collaborative treatment planning, thoughtful medication management, and measurable progress in real-life functioning. I integrate trauma-informed principles, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based psychopharmacology. I remain engaged in ongoing continuing education related to LGBTQ+ mental health disparities, suicide prevention, and culturally responsive psychiatric care.
I believe LGBTQ+ patients deserve competent, affirming psychiatric providers who understand both clinical complexity and lived experience. My goal is to provide high-quality, individualized mental healthcare that supports resilience, authenticity, and long-term wellbeing.
