As an internal medicine physician, I began providing gender-affirming medical care in 2011 in response to requests from the community for this care. I appreciate and admire the advocacy that the Purdue University LGBTQ+ Center and other agencies and individuals in the Tippecanoe County area have unfailingly demonstrated in efforts to provide better health care for gender nonconforming individuals. I have experienced pushback from various community health entities and was delighted to open an independent office in 2022 to provide gender-affirming, internal medicine, and immigration medical exam services. The office is staffed exclusively with gender-affirming individuals who believe everyone should feel safe when accessing health care.
We believe that you should have the opportunity to fully live your story. We offer gender-affirming medical consultation and ongoing care, including medication management, support for your legal document requirements, and referral to other medical and mental health professionals as needed. We follow current professional recommendations from international and national organizations such as the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH); the Fenway Institute in Boston, Massachusetts; the University of California, San Francisco Transgender Care program; and The Endocrine Society.
We do not participate with health insurance programs, and instead keep our costs affordable for individuals. If an individual has health insurance, often they can present their medical care receipt to their insurance, flexible spending account, or health savings account for reimbursement, or pay with a health savings account card. We see patient by appointment only- unfortunately we cannot accommodate walk-in patients. Please contact us by email at answers@dynamic-health.org or leave a message on our phone at 765-314-3515 and we will respond promptly. We welcome your feedback, and we want to continuously improve!
