I provide care to many patients who identify as LGBTQ. We strive to create a welcoming environment for ALL LGBTQ patients. I have participated in multiple continuing medical education events that focus on the needs of LGBTQ patients and the barriers faced by these patients when they interact with the current healthcare system. Our overall goal is simple. We treat EVERYONE in the exact same way that we would like to be treated if we were in their shoes.
